Andy Garbi is a singer, songwriter, composer and interdisciplinary artist living in rural England. As a frontman/lead singer, he has performed at festivals all over Europe including Glastonbury and the Trans Musicale in France. He released his debut neo-classical album The Sound of One to global critical acclaim and also started to explore audiovisual artwork. Andy’s collaborations extend to film, fashion, theatre, dance and heritage. He has opened a runway show for Louis Vuitton, created ‘slow-motion paintings’ in a Victorian factory and made an installation within
a cathedral-like 18th Century chimney featuring choir, surround sound and sculptural glass instruments. Recently returning to live performance, Andy created LUNG– a collection of songs, poems, quadraphonic soundscapes and light based upon underground rivers inside a cave system that stretches beneath the Anglo-Irish border. He is currently working on song sketches for a new album.
